Biography
Donald Richards is a Distinguished Professor of Statistics at Penn State.
Richards obtained his PhD in 1978 at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.
His research interests include multivariate statistical analysis, reliability theory, combinatorics, probability inequalities, representation theory and harmonic analysis, special functions of matrix argument, astronomy and astrophysics, value investing, financial derivatives, and applications.
He is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
